NSAIDs : Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) are drugs with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory activities that help reduce pain, fever and inflammation. The term "non-steroidal" is used to distinguish these drugs from steroids viz. mineralocorticoids and glucocorticoids – the glucocorticoids that also possess anti-inflammatory action.
